We went out tonight to find the crescent moon (Ar. hilal) and it was not visible. The same thing was mentioned by the scholars of Morocco, which is the nearest country to ourselves. Based on this, we will be completing thirty days of Sha`ban and starting 1 Ramadan this Sunday.

I would like to extend my congratulations to all the people who have read the blog and those of us that will be fasting I hope that you attain maximum benefit.

Kind regards,

Al-Hajj Abu Ja`far Al-Hanbali
