The last year was amazing indeed and many good things came about for me. There were tests but even more so there were great blessings that came to me all year long. Ramadan has passed, both `Eids have passed and the Hajj has passed. We have been allowed to see all of these things. We ask our Lord that he might make it possible to see another year.
Dhul Hijjah, the hardest crescent to sight in the year, was not seen in the UK nor by the marja`, people in the zones across Morocco. Thus today marks the first day of Muharram. It has been 1,437 years since the Hijrah of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. This was a time of great danger but also one of ultimate triumph when it was found that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, had safely made it across. That is not unlike this year.
Please do not forget as well that for those readers who are Muslims, in nine days time, it is strongly recommended to fast the ninth and tenth of the month or the tenth or eleventh as this is the fast of `Ashura’ and great rewards are promised.
Stay safe and thank you again for all of your support and insightful comments.
